In this process, a newly created course can be modified. There are more options for modifying components in new courses than in existing courses, because no results have yet been recorded in uSis. This process also ensures that the changes in TEC are processed in uSis.
Edit new course
In this step you can change the data of a newly created course. You enter the basic data and additional data of the course, the offer period, methods, assessments and people involved.
Done by: programme coordinator
You start the process by searching for the course (using the search function or via faculties - courses) and then clicking on the ‘Reopen’-button beside Edit new course.
You will then see an overview of all the steps in this process (the dots).
Use the Next and Previous buttons to navigate through the workflow.
For a detailed explanation of what to do where, see the explanation in Opstellen vak.
On the Complete page, you send the changes to uSis Administration for the next step. You must include a comment here.

For a detailed explanation of what to do where, see the explanation in 2.4 Courses for uSis.
Approved & Not to uSis
Approved is the status that the process gets when the previous steps have been executed and the last step has been completed.
Not for uSis: not every course needs to go to uSis. When the tic for uSis has been turned off on the page Additional Details, the course will not go to the status Approved, but to Not for uSis.
Reopen & Waiting room
Reopen
This is the status a New Course gets to make sure this new course can be reopened into this Edit New Course process.
Waiting room
This status exists for application management only. We cannot make it not show up in the dot-line, but it has no function within the process for end-users.
