TEC-Curriculum ensures that all information about educational programmes is recorded in a uniform, complete and centralised manner. This includes programmes, courses, methods and related data. TEC-Curriculum then shares this data with other systems, such as uSis. This prevents duplication of work and reduces the risk of errors.
In TEC-Curriculum, you start with the data from the existing educational programme, which is copied to the coming year. If there are changes to the programmes in the new academic year – such as the level, period or ECTS – the “programme coordinator” implement these in TEC. The coordinator is a role within TEC that allows you to remove, add and modify courses. After the coordinator, the curriculum must be approved by the “Approver”. Finally, the “Study Chair” checks the programme before it is transferred to uSis.
All faculties work in TEC and have made internal working agreements about this. You can find these working agreements here.
