This article describes the actions the Chief Editor must perform when preparing or taking over processes.
How do I prepare processes?
To prepare processes for the Prospectus Author, go to Reports › Processes › Process Management. Then select Course or Study Program and choose the desired process, for example Prospectus Information Course – Early (for minor and exchange courses).
Find the course(s) for which you want to change the status. You can search using the fields below (but this is not required). Enter the criteria and click Search.
- Select your faculty
- Select a study programme
- Select the calender
- Select a period
It is important that participants have been added to the courses. If this is not the case, contact the Chief Editor or the Functional Application Manager.
Click on Take Over. Assign the new status to the course(s). Click Take Over again. Courses automatically change their process status when tasks are completed. In some cases, the chief editor or functional administrator may need to move a course back one step in the process
- Hand in: The workflow appears on the Prospectus Author's dashboard for the course in the form of a task. Use the status Submit when you want to prepare courses for delivery.
- Check: The process appears as a review task on the Reviewer Prospectus's dashboard
- Approve: The process appears as an approval task on the Chief Editor’s dashboard
- Ready to publish: The process is ready to be published.
- Publish: The prospectus information is made available on the public prospectus website, allowing students to consult it when selecting courses.
